I am a retired teacher and wrestling coach with a BA in Environmental Studies from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. I have spent the last 32 years teaching high school students about our earth, biology, and the importance of environmental preservation.

With a name like Bill Wilson, you can imagine the fun my students had with my name! It was my students that came up with one of my nicknames “Bill Wye the Science Guy”, so I thought I would change that just a bit to “Bill Wye the Solar Guy” as I embark on my career-change in my retirement.

I feel so great about this new adventure. For every solar and roofing scam artist out there, it creates an opportunity for the Good Guys! And that is what you will get with me.

My goal is to help my customers and the environment simultaneously. I can’t think of anything better that I could do in my post retirement from education! If you need a new roof or a new solar system, put Coach in your corner!
